Business Administration

Cultivation Objectives:

The program of Business Administration aims to cultivate compound and innovative internationalized management talents who have cross-cultural communication and practical abilities, systematically master the disciplinary knowledge and professional skills in business administration, economics, law, humanities, etc., possess specialized management skills such as enterprise production and operation, human resource management, marketing, financial accounting, and are familiar with the business model of multinational companies.

工商管理专业充分利用辽大和德大的优势资源，引进英方的优质课程和优秀师资，实施小班授课、案例教学。每学期配备博士生导师或硕士生导师授课，介绍学术前沿问题，引导学生开展科研工作，并通过模拟实验、创新大赛等方式不断优化课程设计。

The Business Administration major makes full use of the superior resources of Liaoning University and De Montfort University, Introduce high-quality courses and outstanding teachers from the UK. and implements small-class teaching and case-based teaching. Each semester, doctoral supervisors or master's supervisors will be assigned to teach, introduce the cutting-edge academic issues, and guide students to carry out scientific research work. The curriculum design is continuously optimized through methods such as simulation experiments and innovation competitions.

工商管理专业实施“双注册”“双学位”人才培养模式（“4+0”培养模式），学生可以自主选择在欧洲杯在线投注完成全部学业，或者赴英国德蒙福特大学完成后两年或者后一年的学业；学生在学业修读年限内修完本科全部课程、成绩合格并符合条件者，无论出国与否，均可同时获得欧洲杯在线投注的本科毕业证/学士学位证以及德蒙福特大学的学士学位证。选择去德大完成后两年学习的学生拥有一次重新选择专业（工商管理、会计学、市场营销）的机会。在欧洲杯在线投注修读两年后，如果转入德大会计学专业学习，学生最多可免考ACCA（国际注册会计师）资格认证考试13个科目中的9个科目。

The Business Administration program implements the "double registration" and "double degree" talent cultivating model ("4 + 0" cultivating model). Students can independently choose to complete all their studies at Liaoning University or go to De Montfort University in the UK to complete the last two years or the last year of their studies. Students who complete all undergraduate courses within the study period, achieve qualified grades and meet the requirements can obtain both the bachelor's degree certificate of Liaoning University and the bachelor's degree certificate of De Montfort University, regardless of whether they go abroad or not. Students who choose to complete the last two years of study at De Montfort University have the opportunity to re-select their major (Business Administration, Accounting, and Marketing). After studying at Liaoning University for two years, if students transfer to the accounting major at the University of De Montfort for further studies, they can be exempted from up to 9 out of the 13 subjects in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification examination.

学生入学后考试及升级要求：为保证学生在校或者出国学习达到相应的语言要求，学院在一年级开设英语强化训练课程。学生在一年级期末需参加由德蒙福特大学组织的英语测试，成绩合格者方可注册二年级的专业课程学习。如英语测试成绩不合格，补考后依然无法达到要求，则须转入低一年级继续学习。学生考试及升级要求按两校相关管理制度执行。

Examination and promotion requirements for students after enrollment: To ensure that students meet the corresponding language requirements for studying on campus or abroad, SWIBS offers an intensive English training course in the first year. At the end of the first year, students are required to take the English test organized by De Montfort University. Only those who pass the test can register for the professional courses in the second year. If the student fails the English test and still cannot meet the requirements after the re-take test, they must transfer to the lower grade to continue their studies. The examination and promotion requirements for students are implemented in accordance with the relevant management systems of the two universities.

工商管理专业学生学业水平扎实、外语精通、综合素质好，部分毕业生推荐免试研究生升入北京大学、上海交通大学、浙江大学等国内著名高校学习；部分毕业生申请国外研究生升入剑桥大学、伦敦政治经济学院、约翰·霍普金斯大学等世界名校学习，近三年来读研率稳定在60%；部分毕业生进入国家税务总局、中国石油、花旗银行、国家电网、华晨宝马等单位工作。

Graduation destinations:

Students majoring in business administration have a solid academic foundation, proficiency in foreign languages, and excellent comprehensive qualities. Some graduates are recommended for direct admission to prestigious domestic universities such as Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Zhejiang University without taking the entrance examination. Some graduates apply for overseas graduate programs and are admitted to world-renowned universities such as University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Johns Hopkins University. The graduate enrollment rate of SWIBS has been stabilized at 60% in the past three years.
